Frequently Asked Questions
What should i wear to a party crawl?
Generally, casual or “smart-casual” attire is best for the Party Crawl! Most venues do not permit shorts, sweatpants, joggers, or flip-flops. We recommend keeping it casual and being prepared to move around. Keep in mind that there is also a bit of walking between venues, so be mindful of the weather and footwear you choose to wear!
what is a party crawl?
The West Coast Party Crawl takes inspiration from a widely popular event called Pub Crawls.
A Party Crawl is a social event where participants visit multiple clubs, bars, pubs, or other drinking establishments in one night, typically following a set route or schedule. The goal is to enjoy drinks, socialize, and experience different venues in a fun, group setting. Party Crawls often include drink specials, themed activities, and opportunities to meet new people. It's a popular way to explore a city's nightlife and enjoy the atmosphere of various venues in a single evening.
what if i am running late?
In case of some unforeseen circumstances and you happen to be running late, there is no need to worry! All of our routes follow a time-stamped itinerary. So be sure to contact the Party Crawl by email or direct messages on our social pages, and we will be sure that you are not left out of the fun!
WHAT FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION ARE ACCEPTED?
To ensure that you don’t get denied entry into any venue we visit, make sure you always have at least one government-issued form of identification alongside any other documentation with your name on it, such as a credit card.
in Vancouver, the following IDs are typically accepted to prove age for drinking:
Passport – A valid, government-issued passport from your home country, showing your photo and birthdate.
International Driver’s Permit (IDP) – Used alongside a government-issued driver’s license, the IDP should include a photo and clear identification details.
Foreign Driver’s License – A valid, photo-based foreign driver’s license with your birthdate.
National Identity Card – Some countries issue photo ID cards that can be used for age verification.
Work or Student Residency Cards – In some cases, foreign work or student residency cards with a photo and birthdate may be accepted.
Always ensure your ID is valid and clearly displays your name, photo, and birthdate. It’s also a good idea to bring a second form of ID, like a credit card, in case your primary ID isn’t accepted.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE THE GROUP EARLY?
You are always free to leave the group at any time during the night, however, if you would like to meet up with the group at a later venue ensure that you have contacted one of the hosts to make sure that you will be let into the next venue!
